Just a bunch of beaded bottles... |

A bunch of beaded bottles
|
Since one of my friends thought that it would have been nice to see a photo of all my bottles together, here's a pic of the bottles that are still in my possession.
Here you go, Jenny! :-)
Sorry about the lousy pics and display...methink I'm a better beader than photographer. ;-)
There are a few more bottles, that I already gave away, in my Bottles and Vases Photo Album and on my Old Website (click on the Bottles button)
The Daffodil pattern on the largest bottle originally came as a bracelet in the book "Blooming Beads"
by Valerie Hixson. I cutted out the unwanted edges and adapted it to this bottle with free-form netting around it.
For the lid I peyote stitched around a cork and then added beaded leaves and Czech glass flowers and a very cute Peruvian ceramic Bee bead.
The Hummingbird pattern on the square bottle is from the book "Back to Beadin' " by Barbara Elbe
I beaded only the front part of the amulet bag pattern and setted it in place with free-form netting.
One day I should bead a topper for this bottle, as I'm not too fond of the original cork and plastic one.
And yes, the round green vase needs a topper too, but I got it from my UFO's corner. ;-)

Thank you so much Coco! :-)
Bisous
Miss you
Thanks, but I haven't been busy with beading lately (read previous post). Many of those bottles are older ones, I just took them out to take a group picture. ;-)
I haven't touched my beads in almost 3 weeks. I hope to be able to get going with it again soon...if things get better.
Love you!
Thank you so much, Jenny! You're way too sweet and kind! :-)
I do have the equipment to take better pictures (light tent and right lights), but need to make a revolution in my house to find a steady setting for it. It's taking way too long to get everything out each time I want to take just a couple of pics, so I always end up taking them with just one light (not a good one either) and a piece of soft cardboard as a background, but sometimes, like in this case, it is too small.
Photoshop helps in lightening the pics, but it's not quite the same....especially because I can't even use it too well. LOL
I'm going to see if I can cut out the edges of this photo....I might be able to do that...hopefully. ;-)
Okey, I managed to cut the edges to another pic I took yesterday which had even a worse framing, but a little better focus on the bottom bottles.
I think it looks better than before. :-)
Wish I had more patience to study, but I want it all good and done yesterday! LOL
